Lucky Clover Gives Back to the Red Cross FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE December 21, 2012 The Lucky Clover Trading Company Gives Back to the Red Cross Benicia, CA- The Lucky Clover Trading Co., a division of Kingsum, Inc. announced today that they are making a monetary donation to the Red Cross. The Red Cross is a non-profit organization dedicated to “providing compassionate care to those in need”. Its network of generous donors, volunteers, and employees work to prevent and alleviate human suffering. The Red Cross is the nation’s premier humanitarian organization and is currently helping the recent victims of Hurricane Sandy and the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting. The Red Cross was founded in 1881 by Clara Barton and a circle of her acquaintances in Washington, D.C. Barton led the Red Cross for 23 years, during which time they conducted the first domestic and overseas disaster relief efforts, aided the United States military in the Spanish-American War, and campaigned successfully for the inclusion of peacetime relief work as part of the global Red Cross network. Today, supporters, volunteers, and employees provide compassionate care by providing assistance in these five key service areas:
