FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE October 20th, 2015 The Lucky Clover Gives Back by Donating to Rape Crisis Intervention Service, RCIS Benicia, CA- The Lucky Clover Trading Co., a division of Kingsum, Inc. announced they are making a donation of baskets to support the Rape Crisis Intervention Service (RCIS). RCIS is a non-profit organization based in Carroll County, a Maryland community, which provides free counseling and other support services to victims of sexual violence and their families. The donation of baskets will be used to put together gift baskets for RCIS’s silent auction for their 16th annual ‘A Culinary Experience’ event, to be held October 12th. RCIS was formed in 1978 to offer free services for those hurt by sexual violence, and to eliminate sexual violence in Carroll County through education and advocacy. For more than 30 years, this non-profit organization is dedicated to informing and educating residents of Carroll County with a full-time Outreach Specialist. RCIS provides a number of education courses and groups for all ages, such as student classroom presentations, community group programs, and professional and college programs. RCIS’s education and prevention programs cover topics from date/acquaintance rape to advocacy, recovery and counseling. Associate Grace Remigio states, “It's reassuring to know that an organization like RCIS exists. Support and counseling is crucial to victims of sexual violence. I hope our donation of baskets will help RCIS raise more money to continue supporting those that are affected by this type of violence.” The Lucky Clover Trading Company is excited about giving back to the Rape Crisis Intervention Service. The company will select one charitable non-profit organization to donate to every month. This program is open to non-profit organizations locally and nationally.
