February 07, 2012 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE The Lucky Clover Trading Company Gives Back to the Community, Donating Baskets to H.I.S. K.I.D.S. Inc. Benicia, CA—The Lucky Clover Trading Company, a division of Kingsum, Inc., announced today that they donated baskets to the non-profit organization H.I.S. K.I.D.S Inc. for a charity auction. The donation of baskets will benefit the non-profit organization’s auction to raise money for an annual summer camp. The summer camp is for kids with cancer, and their siblings, who are often the forgotten family members. H.I.S. K.I.D.S. Inc. was founded in 1984 by Jim and Connie Miles, after their eleven year old daughter, Marcia Rene Miles lost her battle with cancer. The non-profit organization’s mission is to provide support programs, emotional health services, and emergency assistance from the time a child is diagnosed with cancer, throughout his/her treatment, and beyond. Some of the programs offered include: · Family Support & Preservation, designed to help the family and individual family members cope with the disease · Art Therapy & Counseling, a program designed to provide counseling and therapy through art for the child with cancer, including their family members The Lucky Clover Trading Company knows how devastating cancer can be to children stricken with the disease, as well as their families. The donation of baskets helps H.I.S. K.I.D.S. Inc. with its 17th Annual Dinner Auction and Fundraiser on February 18, 2012. Proceeds from the event will help facilitate a summer camp program offered in the St. Louis, MO area for children with cancer, which includes their siblings. Associate Rachelle Gutschenritter, who heads the Lucky Clover Gives Back program, says “Supporting the programs and efforts of H.I.S K.I.D.S Inc. is something the company feels is important in helping children and families deal with this devastating disease.
